EATING AND DRINKING
 
Should you be arriving a bit earlier, our personal favourites include the following traditional places which are all located in a very nice part of the old town. Also useful to know is that these are extremely close to the church, so should you be looking for somewhere for lunch or a quick drink before the marriage ceremony, these would be suitable. Widder Bar 

Located in the lovely  Widder Hotel. The groom can most likely be discovered here...

Restaurant Kindli

Nice place for a glass of champagne and/or light meal.

Kaiser's Reblaube 

Lovely for a traditional meal. For something a bit special, try the Goethe room upstairs where Goethe himself used to while away the hours.

Hotel zum Storchen

Amazing setting and a favourite with locals and tourists alike, especially for champagne and nibbles.

Zeughauskeller

Impressive great big hall especially known for its beer and sausages or other local specialties, located off Bahnhofstrasse.
